Hockey in Hartford?

Hartford movers might see hockey fans and players calling in over the next few years, as resident hockey promoter Howard Baldwin has big plans to bring the sport back to Hartford, CT. Earlier today Baldwin revealed plans for a $105 million update to the XL Center.

This colossal investment has two main goals in mind for downtown Hartford. First, to make the XL Center a main hub of economic activity, and more importantly to bring an NHL team back to Hartford by 2017. Sketches of the plan are without a doubt impressive, and if you're a fan of hockey calling a Hartford mover sooner rather than later might not be a bad move.
