Holiday Proposal in Conneticut

As a local Hartford moving company, we've heard plenty of creative proposal stories from local couples over the years. Every one is fun to listen to and uniquely special in its own way, but earlier this month a young man in Norwich pulled off a proposal that truly inspires the holiday spirit. The 22 year old strung up Christmas lights with his family just as he'd done every December, but this year was special. Rather than loop the lights around their fence, they carefully spelled out "Will You Merry Me?" in their backyard. Later that night he returned with his girlfriend and when they walked across the yard, his family turned the lights on to reveal the message. Although a date hasn't been set, the couple is very excited to start planning the wedding. Stories like this remind us what the holiday season is really about.
